Obituary

Bernice M. Borger, age 94, formerly of 607 Stonehedge Meadows, Ridgway, died Monday morning December 21, 2020, at Elk Haven Nursing Home.  She was born September 12, 1926, in Falls Creek, PA, daughter of the late Bernard L. and Ellen A. (Lindholm) Craft.  She married Robert E. Borger on September 4, 1948, he preceded her in death in 1997.  She was a former resident of Forest Hills, PA and had been a Ridgway resident since 1958.  She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and was a graduate of Falls Creek High School.  She had been employed by Ridgway Area School District for 5 years.  She was the owner of B & B Ceramics and taught ceramics for 15 years.

She is survived by 3 daughters:  Linda L.(Bernard) Wright of Ridgway, Luann L. Geitner of Gas City, Indiana, and Lori L. Brady of Ridgway; 5 grandchildren:  Robert, Tammy, William, Lisa, and Patrick; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 1 brother William Craft of DuBois, PA; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers Robert and Arthur Craft, and a sister Nancy Gray.

Funeral and Committal Services for Bernice M. Borger will be private.  Officiating will be Ronald Burkett, Pastor of the Hallton Church.  Burial will be at Parklawn Memorial Gardens.  There will be no visitation.  Memorials, if desired, can be made to the donor’s choice.  Share your online condolences at thompsonfuneralhomepa.com
