Charles (Will) Hoffman, age 73, of 183 Ridgway Dr., Ridgway, died unexpectedly on Sunday morning, September 26, 2021, at UPMC Hamot Medical Center in Erie. He was born September 12, 1948, in Ridgway, son of the late James A. and Betty J. (Wolfe) Hoffman. He married Diane M. Mecca on April 28, 2006, she survives. He resided in Ridgway all his life and was Lutheran by Faith. He served with the U.S. National Guard. Will enjoyed hunting, ice fishing, and traveling with Diane to visit family. He was a graduate of Ridgway High School Class of 1966. He owned and operated Hoffman Roofing with his brother Wayne and had worked there all of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Diane M. Hoffman of Ridgway, his children: Tracey L. Dickey and fiancée Stephen Wright of Tampa, FL, Bryan M. (Melissa) Hoffman of Monroeville, PA, and Ashley E. (Brian) McLaughlin of Monaca, PA; 2 stepchildren: Jennifer M. (Jesse) Patterson of Ridgway and Julie L. Patterson of Lakewood, OH; a daughter-in-law Kim Hoffman of Charleston, WV; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 brother Wayne (Bonnie) Hoffman of Ridgway; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Michael W. Hoffman, and a brother Doug Hoffman.
A Memorial Service for Charles Will Hoffman will be held at the Thompson Funeral Home on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Ronald L. Burkett, Pastor of the Hallton Church. Friends will be received on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM.
