Dorothy M. Armanini, age 99, passed away peacefully at Elk Haven Nursing Home on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. She was a former resident of Ulster Ave. in Ridgway and Brandy Camp. She was born on March 23, 1921, in Tyler, PA, daughter of the late Roy and Kathryn (Mascaro) Pasi. On June 19, 1946, she married Frank Angelo Armanini at Holy Cross Church in Brandy Camp, PA. He preceded her in death on June 17, 1995. She was a member of St. Leo Catholic Church. She truly loved her family, playing Bingo, and doing word search puzzles.
She is survived by the following children: a daughter, Carol (Robert) Connacher of Ridgway, 2 sons, Frank (Caroline) Armanini, Jr. of Ridgway, and Mark (Peg) Armanini of Ridgway; 2 grandchildren: Angelo Armanini and Frank Armanini III “Butchie”, and 1 great-granddaughter Brooke Armanini. She is also survived by 1 sister Joann Powers of Brockway, PA, 1 brother Donald (Helen) Pasi also of Brockway, and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Virginia Jose and Kathleen Pasi at birth, and 2 brothers: LeRoy Pasi and Richard Pasi.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a Private Mass of Christian Burial and Committal for Dorothy M. Armanini will be celebrated at St. Leo Catholic Church. Officiating will be Fr. Justin P. Pino, Pastor of St. Leo Catholic Church. Burial will be at Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials can be made to St. Leo Catholic Church or to the Ridgway Volunteer Fire Dept.
