He was born on August 23, 1938 in Munderf, PA. He was the son of the late Preston and Mildred (Carnahan) McClelland.

On February 14, 1959 he married the love of his life, Patricia Eckert.  They were married for 62 years and had five beautiful children.

Ken was a strong man of the Christian faith and loved serving the Lord.  He was an ordained minister. He loved people and was passionate about telling people about Jesus, praying for & helping his family, friends, and anyone in need. Ken loved Christian praise and worship and he loved to read and minister the Scriptures of the Bible. He was an anchor and mentor for Christ to his family & friends.

Over the years of his life, he learned many trades, was very mechanically inclined and could fix, build, and do anything he put his mind to.  He enjoyed fixing & painting cars.  He ran heavy equipment. He worked for many years as a self-employed logger and in his retirement, he ran a small water treatment company. Any job Ken did, he always made sure it was meticulous.  Ken was a man you could rely on and he was a man of his word. Loving father, friend and had a very sweet spirit to all who knew him.

Ken loved watching old western movies, he loved reading the funnies in the newspaper and telling jokes. He enjoyed napping with his cat. When he was young, he made several trips to Canada moose hunting, and also enjoyed deer hunting.  When his sons were young, he helped with the boy scouts and took many canoe trips down the Clarion River.  He and his wife Patricia belonged to Bells of St. Marys and enjoyed Square Dancing.

Ken was a patriot for the Kingdom of God and a patriot for his country.

Ken is survived by his wife Patricia; three sons, Richard McClelland of St Marys, Thomas McClelland and James McClelland of Ridgway, and daughter, Christine (McClelland) Morelli of Florida; his brother Cletus McClelland of Lake City; nine grandchildren, Tom, Josh, Tim, Christina, Tiffany, Adam, Rick, Ryan, & Summer; and four great grandchildren, Stevalyn, Kenzie, Declan, & Shilah.
