Paulette Viglione, age 96, of 339 E. Jamestown Rd., Greenville, PA, and formerly of Ridgway, died Thursday, November 28, 2019, at St. Paul Homes in Greenville, PA following a lengthy illness. She was born May 3, 1923, in Lyon, France, daughter of the late Louis and Lucy Leon. She married James J. Viglione on March 2, 1946, he preceded her in death on March 14, 2005. She resided in Ridgway for many years before moving to Hermitage, PA. She was a member of St. Leo Catholic Church. Paulette was an avid Bingo player and seamstress. She had been employed by Alpha Sintered Metals and the Market Basket.
She is survived by 1 son Jean L. (Judy) Viglione of New Cumberland, PA; 2 daughters: Angela G. Viglione of Boalsburg, PA and Maria A. (Duane) Piccirilli of Hermitage, PA; 6 grandchildren: Matthew, Mark, Jessica, Christopher, Roslyn, and Michael; 3 great-grandchildren: Dominic, Giulia, and Quinnlynn, and 1 brother Gerard in France. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter Lucy Piccirilli.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Paulette Viglione will be celebrated at St. Leo Catholic Church on Tuesday at 12:00 PM. Officiating will be Fr. Justin P. Pino, Pastor of St. Leo Catholic Church. Burial will be at Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Friends will be received at the St. Leo Church Gathering Space on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of the Mass at 12:00 PM. Memorials, if desired, can be made to the Salvation Army, 245 Main St., Ridgway, PA 15853 or to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101.
