Ivan D. Sharrow

Ivan D. Sharrow, age 91, formerly of 95 Ridge St., Ridgway, died Thursday morning September 20, 2018, at Pinecrest Manor.  He was born October 28, 1926 in Miola, PA, son of the late James W. and Mabel G. (Dunkle) Sharrow.  He resided in Ridgway since 1940 and was Protestant by faith.  He served in the U.S. Army and was a Veteran of WW II.  He had been employed by the Old Time Bakery, Marhoffer Bakery and retired from the Ridgway Borough after many years of service.  

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 sister Grace L. Sharrow, 2 brothers:  James Sharrow and Warren Sharrow, and 1 niece Geraldine Sharrow.

Funeral and Committal Services for Ivan D. Sharrow will be held at the convenience of the family.  Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.  There will be no visitation.  Memorials, if desired, can be made to the Elk County Humane Society, 1029 E. Eschbach Rd., St. Marys, PA  15857.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Thompson Funeral Home.
