Stephanie A. (Black) Keller, age 55, of 139 Commons Lane, Ridgway, died unexpectedly Saturday afternoon, September 1, 2018, at Penn Highlands Elk. She was born January 13, 1963, in Fort Belvoir, VA, daughter of Robert L. and Donna J. (Stewart) Black. She was married to Timothy Keller who died in 2006. She resided in Ridgway all of her life and was Protestant by faith. She was a graduate of Ridgway High School. She had been employed by Pinecrest Manor as a CNA for many years.
She is survived by her parents Robert L. and Donna J. Black of Portland Mills, 1 daughter Leah N. Shaffer of Ridgway, 3 grandchildren: Blake Shaffer, Maleah Meyer, and Makanize Meyer all of Ridgway, 2 brothers: Scott (Regina) Black of St. Clairsville, OH, and Jason (Wendi) Black of Tremont, OH, 1sister Colleen J. (Bruce) Mowrey of Johnsonburg, her long time companion Jesse Black of Hallton, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Herman and Rose Stewart, and her paternal grandparents Earl and Emily Black.
Funeral and Committal Services for Stephanie A. Keller will be held at the Thompson Funeral Home on Friday, September 7, 2018, at 12:00 PM. Officiating will be Fr. Justin P. Pino, Pastor of St. Leo Catholic Church. Burial will be at Munderf Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Thompson Funeral Home on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 12:00 PM. Memorials, if desired, can be made to the donor’s choice.
